Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist. This role requires experience or college certificate for dental administration And also requires a friendly , strong communication skills, and familiarity with dental office operations. Experience with electronic medical records and dental management software .
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment
Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments using dental management software
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and address patient concerns
Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions efficiently
Maintain organized front desk area and ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly
Assist with patient intake forms and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and filed correctly
Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the day
Handle correspondence and communication with insurance companies as needed
Requirements
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office.
Proficiency with dental management software.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and insurance processing
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing electronic medical records and office documentation
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with patients, staff, and insurance providers
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Office experience, including front desk responsibilities and administrative support roles, is essential
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and general office procedures
