Dental Receptionist

We are looking for a new front desk staff member who will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient front-office operations within our office. Customer service and organization are a high priority for our new hire. Reporting directly to the dentist, this position manages patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming environment. We are a laid back, but up beat practice that handles a moderate patient volume daily. You will have the opportunity to work independently, while also working next to our second front desk team member. Our front desk team member will is also responsible for handling financial transactions and utilizing dental practice management software to support office coordination.

Responsibilities
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Manage patient check-ins and maintain patient records
Handle multi-line phone systems and provide excellent customer service
Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims
Process payments and billing accurately
Coordinate office activities to ensure smooth daily operations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in dental office reception
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with dental software (We use Curve)
Experience in appointment scheduling and insurance claim processing
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage a multi-line phone system (Mango)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
