Dental Receptionist

Overview
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a busy dental office environment.

Duties
Greet and welcome patients in a warm, professional manner
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software Dentrix
Answer incoming telephone calls and assist patients with their questions and needs
Send and process dental insurance claims and assist with insurance inquires
Provide appointment reminders and follow up with patients as required
Assist with general reception and administrative duties
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointment scheduling
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appoitnments, and follow up care.

Requirements
Friendly, approachable, and professional
Comfortable working with Dental Software. Experience with Dentrix a plus
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing schedules and patient records
Previous experience in office administration or front desk roles
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes to assist patients effectively
Previous dental reception experience is an asset
