Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and EXPERIENCED DENTAL Front Desk Administrator to join our friendly team at 124 Main Street, Toronto and 116 Sheppard Avenue West, North York.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to both staff and clients. This position requires a strong background and experience in dental receptionist and administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with dental office environments. Knowledge Paradigm and Tagalog speaking an asset.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Paradigm or Dentrix or similar dental management software
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries, appointment requests, and general questions
Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments accordingly
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Paradigm or other electronic health record systems
Collect patient information, update records, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk
Handle patient check-in/check-out processes efficiently and professionally
Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office environment
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures is preferred
Proficiency with Paradigm, Dentrix, Epic, or other electronic medical records systems
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff effectively
Ability to manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures in a healthcare setting
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain HIPAA compliance
Prior experience in DENTAL office administration is highly desirable
This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring administrative tasks are handled accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team committed to delivering outstanding dental care in both of our locations in the Upper Beaches in Toronto and North York office.
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
