Dental Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator

Please note previous experience as a dental receptionist/treatment coordinator is a requirement for this position.

A well-established dental practice in North Vancouver is seeking a Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join their team. Renowned for delivering comprehensive dental care to the local community, the practice offers a welcoming and professional environment. The team consists of experienced professionals committed to providing high-quality services to patients of all ages. Equipped with modern technology, the practice enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of dental procedures, ensuring optimal patient care.

Schedule:

• Mondays through Fridays (Tuesdays through Fridays would also be an option for the right candidate)
• 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (start time at 9:00 AM would also be an option for the right candidate)
• One hour lunch break
• May vary slightly depending on business needs

Main responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and professionally
• Manage incoming phone calls and emails
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Submit pre-determinations and follow up with insurance providers
• Prepare and present estimates for complex treatment plans
• Collect and process patient payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Compensation:

• $35-$38 per hour

Requirements:

• 1+ years of full-time paid experience as a Dental Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator in Canada
• Knowledge of Power Practice is an asset
• Dental Reception Certificate is an asset
• Communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
