Job Summary
Privately owned dental office is looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Office Administrator to join our growing team! We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing an exceptional patient experience and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong front desk and administrative skills while also being comfortable floating into the clinical area to assist the team when needed. Whether you're an experienced dental administrator or a dental professional looking to expand your role, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily appointment book.
Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and discuss treatment estimates.
Coordinate patient recalls and follow-up appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
Support the clinical team by floating into operatories when needed.
Assist with sterilization, room turnover, and other clinical support duties as required.
Work collaboratively with the entire team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental office is a MUST.
Experience with dental software (ABELDent is an asset).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture.
Experience with Invisalign, scanners, or treatment coordination is an asset but not required.
Willingness to assist the clinical team when needed.
A Level II Dental Assistant certification is considered a strong asset and will be viewed as a bonus but is not required.
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
