We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our dental practice. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth daily office functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental or medical office settings, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient with dental management software. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and Epic
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments while maintaining accurate records
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately at the front desk
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dental team during procedures as needed
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment for patients
Handle patient inquiries regarding treatments, billing, and office policies with professionalism
Skills
Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar medical office role
Proficiency with dental management software such as Dentrix and Epic electronic health records systems
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and record keeping
Prior experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) is highly desirable
Office experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrating adaptability and professionalism
