Bilingual Dental Receptionist (English/Spanish)

Job Summary
E Plant Dental Group is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable bilingual dental receptionist to join our team. This position involves welcoming patients, managing appointments, and assisting with dental insurance and front desk operations.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or handling dental insurance is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in English and Spanish.
Schedule appointments, send reminders, and follow up on missed appointments.
Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage details.
Assist with insurance claims, preauthorization requests, and claim follow-up.
Collect payments and explain estimated patient balances and office policies.
Update patient records and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
Coordinate with the clinical team to support an organized daily schedule.
Maintain patient confidentiality and keep the front desk welcoming and organized.
Qualifications
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or working with dental insurance is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of insurance verification, claims processing, or preauthorization procedures is a plus.
Familiarity with Open Dental or other dental practice management software is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
Comfortable discussing appointments, insurance benefits, and payments with patients.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28.0 per week
