## Job Overview
We are currently looking for a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our new dental office team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing administrative support, and delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.
## Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling efficiently
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns promptly
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and securely
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Process insurance claims and handle billing tasks
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area
## Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Epic is a plus
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting
- Background in handling front desk responsibilities in a medical office environment
