Dental Receptionist / Billing Assistant

Our office is a private dental practice in Santa Maria. We are seeking a Front Desk and Billing Associate to join dental team. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for working in the dental industry and detail oriented, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Greet patients and handle patient questions with patience and professionalism

-Check-in and check-out patients efficiently and accurately

-Verify insurance pre-estimates and process payments

-Support our billing agent for claims, which requiring inputting procedure notes in the dental Management software (Opendental) and maintaining accurate records in Opendental, checking the billing and claim records.

-Assist the doctor and other staff when necessary.

Skills:

-Dental Billing and claim experience, able to checking billing records and answer questions of the billing agents.

-Knowledge of dentistry and dental office working experience.

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Friendly and excellent communication skills

- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software

- Bilingual (English and Spanish is preferred)
Full training is available for the right candidate.
