Dental Receptionist

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming presence will set the tone for a positive patient experience! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our busy dental practice.

Our clinic is within walking distance to Metrotown Skytrain Station and Metrotown mall. Staff parking can be provided.

Duties
Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently to the appropriate team members
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating electronic medical records and verifying insurance information
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, billing support, and processing payments accurately
Maintain organized front desk operations by managing patient flow and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment reminders, and post-visit instructions using medical terminology when appropriate
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental or medical office environment is preferred but NOT REQUIRED, training will be provided so all are welcome to apply
Additional Information
Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred
Remuneration will be adjusted based on experience
Days required: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sat or Sun, hours 9-5pm
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
