Job Description
Overview
Our office is seeking an outgoing and professional Dental Administrator to join our team. The elected candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a high volume, multi-provider dental clinic with experience in insurance EFT entry, hygiene coordination, treatment planning. A thorough understanding of industry standards is a must.
Duties
Effective Communication with the Team and Patients
Accurately bill patients, submit claims to insurance companies, and collect patient portions
Handling Patient Queries via Email, Text Messages and inbound phone calls
Enter Insurance Payments/EFTs accurately and follow-up accordingly
Resolve patient queries in an efficient and timely manner
Contribute to maintaining a full schedule effectively by doing daily outbound calls
Skills
Proficiency with Dentrix is a must
Strong knowledge of dental practice flow and standards
Excellent data entry/ EFT entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Effective Problem Solving
Exceptional customer service abilities, including professional phone etiquette
Ability to clearly direct the patient experience
Ability to work individually and within a team environment
This position is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate.
A minimum of 1 Saturday/mth and 1 evening shift (until 8p) availability will be required.
