Dental Receptionist / Administrator

Our current receptionist has been accepted into Dental Hygiene school, and while we’re excited for her next chapter, we’re looking for a friendly, organized and patient-focused dental receptionist to join our team! We are a family-owned practice that prides itself on exceptional patient care, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment for both our patients and staff.

Schedule:
Part-Time with option for full time:
Wednesday: 1:00-8:00PM
Thursday: 7:00AM -3:00PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

*Additional hours are available on Mondays and Tuesdays for candidates interested in a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
Answer phones and coordinate appointment scheduling
Process payments, insurance claims, and pre-authorizations
Maintain accurate patient records
Support the clinical team with administrative tasks
Follow up on accounts receivable when required
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year dental reception experience required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with Akitu One or other cloud-based dental software is an asset
Knowledge of dental insurance
