Dental Receptionist

Position Overview:
The Dental Receptionist plays a key role in creating a great patient experience while ensuring smooth front office operations. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a warm, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in/check-out patients with a friendly and professional attitude
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
Verify and update patient information, including insurance details
Manage daily schedules and assist with appointment confirmations
Collect payments and explain billing and treatment plans
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Maintain a clean, organized front office area
Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry
Qualifications:
Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus • Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Basic understanding of dental insurance and billing preferred
