Duties
Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and check in/out efficiently
Schedule appointments accurately, coordinate with clinical staff, and manage calendar updates to optimize patient flow
Collect and process payments, insurance information, and outstanding balances
Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and handle patient inquiries promptly
Support clinical staff by preparing care plans documentation and verifying insurance coverage
Skills
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone
Ability to perform clerical tasks such as typing (including 10-key), appointment scheduling
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a busy clinic environment
