Dental Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Assistant who is comfortable assisting both clinical and front office operations. This unique role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is willing to support our team by handling insurance eligibility verification and administrative tasks while also providing chairside dental assisting as needed.

Responsibilities
Front Office Responsibilities (Primary Role):
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Review patient coverage and communicate benefits to patients
Assist with insurance-related administrative tasks
Support appointment scheduling and patient communication when needed
Help ensure efficient daily office operations
Clinical Responsibilities (As Needed):
Chairside assisting during dental procedures
Take digital X-rays and maintain patient records
Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
Assist with infection control protocols
Support doctors and team members as needed
Requirements
Qualifications

X-ray certification required
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Infection Control Training Certificate
Understanding of dental insurance benefits and eligibility verification preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
