Dental Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office while providing exceptional service to our patients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental office procedures.

Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.

Schedule appointments efficiently using Softdent.

Verify patient insurance information and handle insurance verification processes.

Maintain accurate patient records and health information management.

Provide administrative support to dental staff as needed.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage correspondence in a professional manner.

Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.

Proficiency in using Softdent or similar dental practice management software.

Knowledge of dental billing, coding, and insurance verification processes.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
