The Dental Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive experience. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
Collect co-pays, handle billing, and process payments
Maintain patient charts and update records accurately
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
