Job description
We are looking for a dental receptionist/ dental sterilization assistant to join our awesome team. Dental experience before would be an asset but it is not a must. If you are self-motivated, eager-to-learn, awesome team-player, with great work ethic and like making patient’s feel like family we would love to hear from you.

Dental Receptionist/ Sterilization Assistant Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.

Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.

Assisting patients to fill out information forms.

Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.

Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.

Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.

Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.

Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.

Following manufacturers' instructions for maintaining sterilization equipment properly
Ordering clinical supplies and adhering to the office's unique tag system
Preparing treatment rooms for procedures
Recording information, such as sterilization processes and notes
Restocking supplies and cleaning handpieces
Sterilizing dental instruments according to procedures
Transporting dirty dental instruments to and from the dedicated sterilization area
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
