Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Front Office Receptionist to join our Denture Company Nampa Team. This position serves as an important first point of contact for our patients and works closely with both the front office and clinical teams to provide an organized, welcoming, and supportive patient experience.
Many of our patients come to us experiencing dental discomfort, anxiety, or uncertainty about their treatment options. The ideal candidate communicates with patience, empathy, and professionalism while helping patients navigate appointments, insurance, financial questions, and the administrative aspects of their care.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, communicates respectfully with patients and coworkers, and is willing to help where needed to support the success of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients in a welcoming and professional manner and assist with check-in and check-out.
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions professionally and courteously.
Schedule and coordinate consultations, extractions, denture services, follow-up visits, and other appointments based on established scheduling protocols.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, including those who may be experiencing dental discomfort, anxiety, or concerns about treatment.
Work collaboratively with providers, dental assistants, and other team members to support efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
Provide patients with accurate information regarding office procedures, scheduling, insurance, and financial processes within the scope of the position.
Work with our revenue cycle management team and patients regarding insurance.
Accurately enter and maintain patient information and documentation in the practice management system.
Follow up with patients regarding appointments, documentation, and other outstanding administrative needs.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable privacy and HIPAA requirements.
Help maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment.
Assist with other related administrative and office responsibilities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
1. Knowledge - Be Curious and Willing to Learn
- Takes initiative to learn our systems, procedures, and terminology.
- Asks questions when unsure rather than guessing.
- Seeks to understand the "why," not just the "how."
- Is open to coaching and feedback.
- Continuously builds knowledge about patients, scheduling, insurance, treatment, and the practice.
2. Humility - Be Teachable and Team-Oriented
- Understands that being new means there is always more to learn.

- Admits mistakes and asks for help when needed.
- Treats every patient and team member with respect.
- Gives others the benefit of the doubt and contributes to a positive team environment.
3. Resourcefulness - Be a Problem Solver
- Makes a genuine effort to find an answer before saying, "I don't know."
- Knows where to look for information and who to ask for help.
- Stays calm when schedules change, patients have concerns, or unexpected problems arise.
- Looks for solutions rather than simply pointing out problems.
- Uses available resources and works collaboratively with the team.
4. Accountability - Own Your Role
- Shows up prepared, dependable, and ready to contribute.
- Follows through on commitments.
- Takes ownership when something goes wrong rather than making excuses.
- Communicates promptly when a task or responsibility cannot be completed.
- Protects patient trust by being accurate, professional, and dependable.
- Understands that small details at the front desk can have a big impact on the patient experience and the entire team.
We don't expect a new hire to know everything on day one. We look for people who are eager to learn, open to feedback, resourceful, and dependable. Ultimately, our goal is to build a team that creates an exceptional experience for every patient.
