Dental Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office operations, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the overall functionality of the dental office. Wage is negotiable based on the candidate's experience and skillset.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and confirm patient visits
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) system (RecallMax and Open Dental)
Verify insurance information and process billing or payments as needed
Assist with patient check-in/check-out procedures and update medical histories
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely appointment scheduling and patient flow
Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Experience
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems in healthcare environments is preferred
Proficiency in multi-line phone systems and general office equipment is required
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail are critical for success in this role
