Job Description
Dental Receptionist – Pond Mills Dental
Pond Mills Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team.
We are a small, family-owned and operated dental practice looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and has excellent customer service and communication skills.
Previous dental reception experience is required. Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is an asset.
Schedule
Every other Monday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
One Saturday per month: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Reception typically arrives approximately 10 minutes before the first patient and stays until the last patient has checked out.
Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional, and responsive patient communication
Answer and promptly respond to phone calls, emails, texts, and voicemails
Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain a well-organized schedule
Check patients in and out and collect balances
Follow up on recalls and outstanding treatment
Communicate with insurance companies, labs, and specialists as needed
Address patient concerns appropriately and involve the Office Manager when needed
Customer service is a top priority. We are looking for someone who communicates warmly with patients, responds promptly, and takes initiative to keep the office running efficiently
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
