Job title: Dental Receptionist / Front Office – Temporary, Full-Time (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Pay: $22–$29 per hour, based on experience
Job type: Full-time, temporary (through late April/early May 2027)
Description:
Our private general dentistry office in Menifee is looking for an experienced, friendly Dental Receptionist to join our front office team while one of our team members is on maternity leave. This is a temporary, full-time position expected to run through late April or early May 2027.
We are a PPO and cash practice that takes pride in how we treat our patients. The front desk is the first and last impression of every visit, so we are looking for someone who truly enjoys people, delivers outstanding customer service, and works well as part of a close team.
What you'll do
Answer phones promptly and warmly
Greet and check in patients
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Present treatment plans and explain patient portions
Support the front office and clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
What we're looking for
Dental front office experience (required)
Working knowledge of PPO insurance and insurance verification
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
A true team player who is dependable and willing to help wherever needed
Clear, professional communication in person and on the phone
Dentrix experience preferred
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 32–40 hours per week
No weekends
Office hours: Monday and Thursday 9–6; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8–5
