Pay: $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team in Los Alamitos! We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized professional who enjoys working with patients and can confidently manage the day-to-day responsibilities of a busy dental front office.

Dental office experience is required. Dentrix experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients in a warm, professional, and friendly manner
Manage patient check-in and check-out
Answer phones and respond to patient questions with excellent customer service
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Maintain an organized and productive appointment schedule
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Review treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients
Collect patient payments and assist with account balances
Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Coordinate closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Communicate treatment and scheduling information clearly to patients
Handle general front-office administrative duties
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of dental front-office/reception experience required
Experience with Dentrix preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures
Experience with dental insurance, eligibility, and claims
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy office environment
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
High school diploma or equivalent
