Dental Receptionist (Full-Time)

$26–$30 per hour | Minimum 32 hours per week | Monday–Friday | No Evenings or Weekends

Thunder Bay Endodontics is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist to join our growing specialty practice.
As the first person our patients and referring dental offices interact with, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while helping our office run efficiently. If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and take pride in staying organized, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Schedule consultation and treatment appointments.
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
Check patients in and out efficiently.
Process payments and complete end-of-day billing and reconciliation.
Coordinate with referring dental offices to obtain referrals, radiographs, and patient information.
Prepare and submit insurance estimates and pre-determinations on behalf of patients.
Confirm appointments and manage the daily schedule.
Maintain accurate electronic patient records.
Scan, organize, and manage digital documents.
Communicate professionally with patients, dentists, specialists, and insurance providers.
Support the clinical team to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is preferred.
Experience with dental practice management software is an asset.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment coordination is an asset.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
