Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The most important thing to us is effort. We have built a wonderful working culture at our office and would be thrilled to find someone that matches our culture. Previous dental knowledge would be helpful but that could be taught. If you feel as if your are hard working and willing to put in the effort, we would love to have you on our team
Duties
Greet patients as they arrive and provide them with necessary information about their appointments.
Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Process medical collections and handle billing inquiries effectively.
Assist with insurance verification, including Medicare and other insurance plans.
Provide medical administrative support by coordinating with dental staff for efficient patient flow.
Perform basic medical coding tasks as required to ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes is highly desirable.
Experience in a dental office or medical office setting is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Proficient in using phone systems and basic office equipment.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of Medicare policies and procedures is beneficial but not required.
