Job Description
Job Overview:
MUST HAVE DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE. DENTAL TERMINOLOGY, DENTAL INSURANCE VERIFICATION EXPERTISE, ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND EXPLAIN DENTAL TREATMENTS TO PATIENTS. MUST KNOW HOW TO READ AND UNDERSTAND DENTAL CLAIM AND PER-DETERMINATIONS.
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental office team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Bilingual a must. Spanish and English
Duties:
- Greet , check-in and check-out patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information using electronic dental record systems such as open dental
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with dental administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide accurate information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and services
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a must
- Familiarity with dental terminology is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using electronic dental record systems such as Opendental
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Bil lingual . Spanish and English

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
