Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong clerical skills and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; 8-5pm
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records, including care plans and coding information.
Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility for services.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality service delivery.
Uphold compliance with all medical office management protocols and regulations.
Skills
Knowledge of dental office management systems and software, especially Dentrix
Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all visitors.
Experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is preferred.
Excellent clerical skills, including 10 key typing accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with coding practices related to dental procedures is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
