Dental Receptionist - Patient Care Coordinator

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team on Mon - Fri. The ideal candidate should have experience in dental office settings and possess knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures.

Duties:

- Answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries

- Verify insurance coverage and be able to get insurance breakdowns

- Maintain electronic health records using Dentrix

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient care

- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

- Light cleaning of the office space

-Treatment presentation when needed
Skills:
The successful candidate should have the following skills:

- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental terminology

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Understanding the process of insurance verification

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is preferred

- Spanish speaking a plus
