Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors to our practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate treatment room
Answer phones and schedule appointments, including confirming appointments and follow-up appointments
Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays and payments from patients
Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and faxing
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, ensuring a positive experience for each visitor
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a dental office or medical office preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental software programs
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
