Dental Receptionist

Dental Receptionist Job Description We are seeking a warm, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this role, you will manage front-desk operations, coordinate patient schedules, handle billing inquiries, and ensure a seamless, positive experience for our patients from the moment they walk through the door. Core Responsibilities
Patient Check-In/Out: Greet patients warmly, manage check-in forms, verify demographic details, and process checkout payments.

Scheduling: Coordinate and optimize patient appointments to maintain an efficient daily clinic flow.

Insurance Verification: Verify dental insurance benefits, submit claims, and explain coverage limits to patients.

Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage patient text reminders promptly and professionally.

Records Management: Maintain accurate electronic health records, scan documents, and handle patient check-in paperwork.

Office Upkeep: Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of reception or front-desk experience, preferably in a dental or medical office.

Software Skills: Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix) is highly preferred.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of dental terminology and dental insurance billing coding.

Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, exceptional multitasking ability, and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor.
