Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team at a growing private practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office through patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong customer service skills and familiarity with dental terminology and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
Handle appointment scheduling and confirmations using DentrixAscend.
Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with any questions regarding their benefits.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Communicate effectively with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and flow within the office.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the dental practice.
Requirements
Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental office is mandatory.
Dentrix Ascend is a bonus!
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients and staff.
