Dental Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our children's dental practice in the SF Mission District. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, handle insurance verifications, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth clinic operations. Experience with OpenDental is highly preferred. Bilingual skills and prior clinic or dental office experience are a plus, but we are willing to train any new to the dental field!

Available Days Needed: Tuesday & Thursday (Potentially Monday & Friday)
Hours: 8:30AM to 5:00PM
Requirements
Speaks Spanish
Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a medical office environment, preferably in dental clinics
Familiarity with Opendental
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and 10-key typing skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
HIPAA compliance knowledge to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy standards
Support medical administrative tasks including intake procedures, care plan documentation, and appointment reminders
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
