Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is highly organized.

Position Details:
Part-time position-28-32hrs
Expected start: within 1–2 weeks

Required / Preferred Skills:
Experience in a dental office and knowledge of dental terminology (preferred)
Familiarity with Open Dental, Eagle soft, Weave (or similar), and Patient Express is a plus
Comfortable handling payments using merchant devices
Basic understanding of dental terminology and office workflows (preferred)
Verify insurances and plan benefits.

Core Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage text communications
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
Send reminders and follow up with patients regarding upcoming visits
Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
Collect payments and process transactions
Assist with patient check-out, including providing prescriptions when applicable
Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Verify insurances and plan benefits.
