Job Description
Bilingual Dental Receptionist (Full-Time) - Pediatric Office
Location: Santa Ana, CA 92705 Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $19.00 - 23.00 per hour
Are you a highly organized, friendly, and bilingual professional looking to join a warm and vibrant pediatric dental office? We are seeking a compassionate, full-time Dental Receptionist to be the face of our practice and create a positive experience for our young patients and their families. Bilingual Spanish/English fluency is a strict requirement for this position.
Schedule
This is a full-time position offering consistent hours and a three-day weekend every week!
Monday: OFF
Tuesday : OFF
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: OFF
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Required)
Sunday: OFF
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
The ideal candidate will manage all front-office operations while maintaining a professional and supportive atmosphere for patients and staff.
Patient Coordination: Warmly greet all patients and parents upon arrival and departure.
Scheduling: Efficiently manage the daily schedule, answer phones, and schedule/confirm appointments.
Insurance Verification: Accurately verify patient dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
Financials: Collect co-pays and payments, and accurately post transactions.
Communication: Clearly communicate treatment plans, financial options, and appointment details to parents, both in English and Spanish.
Maintain accurate and organized patient files (paper and electronic).
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Bilingual Fluency (Must): Fluent in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Software Proficiency: Experience using Dentrix practice management software.
Customer Service: Exceptional communication skills and a positive, friendly demeanor.
Patience & Empathy: A genuine desire to work with children and provide comfort to anxious parents.
Preferred (A Plus, But Not Required):
1+ years of previous experience in a dental or medical office setting.
Experience with dental insurance billing or accounts receivable is a significant advantage.
