Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. NEED TO HAVE DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE ! DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY DENTAL EXPERIENCE!
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes in Dentrix or similar software
Collect payments and explain billing procedures clearly to patients
Maintain organized front desk area and ensure confidentiality of patient information
Coordinate with dental staff to confirm appointments and follow-up visits
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies
Experience
Prior dental office experience is highly preferred, especially in a front desk or administrative role
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy office environment
Office experience in a medical or healthcare setting is desirable
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential for success in this role
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
