Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team on Saturdays! This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for patients, managing appointment schedules, and ensuring smooth administrative operations within our busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient service while supporting the daily functions of the dental practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for patients and contribute to a positive dental experience.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments, managing multiple-line phone systems.
Collect payments, process co-pays, and handle medical collection activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure proper filing of patient files both digitally and physically.
Assist with front desk duties including answering phones with excellent phone etiquette, managing patient intake forms, and updating patient information.
Requirements
Proven experience as a medical receptionist.
Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and health information management practices..
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive patient information discreetly in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
