Job Description
Seek full-time dental receptionist for a busy, progressive, solo doctor private practice. Monday-Thursday and one Friday a month. 8am-5pm. Must be experienced in the dental field, be able to multi-task ,have strong organizational skills, be a team player and communicate in a friendly and professional manner. Knowledge of PracticeWorks software a strong plus.
Duties include but not limited to:
Greeting arriving patients, checking them in and out,
Answering and managing 3 phone lines
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
Verifying dental insurance and understanding insurance breakdowns
Posting payments, collecting receivables and billing outstanding balances
Correspondence including forwarding x-rays to other offices (written, fax and email)
Maintain an organized work space
