Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate has a friendly attitude with excellent phone and organizational skills and will be responsible for managing front desk operations and supporting the administrative functions of the office. This role offers an opportunity to work in a team environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are valued. The position involves one evening per week and 2-3 Fridays a months. Prior dental office experience and familiarity with electronic medical records are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures
Manage appointments using Tracker
Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately
Answer phone systems promptly, providing exceptional customer service
Assist with patient correspondence, reminders, and follow-up communications
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical/dental office setting preferred
Proficiency with Tracker is preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
Office experience with administrative tasks, scheduling, and billing processes
Familiarity with front desk operations in a fast-paced environment
Good organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
