Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. Minimum two years Dental Receptionist experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and confirm patient visits
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Cleardent
Verify insurance information and process billing or payments as needed
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all patient information is current and complete
Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth office operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols within the dental office environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting preferred
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office administrative procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Prior office experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a front desk role
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
