Dental Receptionist

Our dental office is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as Dental Receptionist for our Specialty Periodontic office. You will play a critical role in managing the front office operations of the clinic, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and handling billing and insurance matters, estimates, and referrals.

Responsibilities:
Greet patients and check them in for their appointments
Schedule appointments
Send letters to referring dentist
Manage patient files and update patient information
Handle billing and insurance matters, including submitting claims
Assist with other front office tasks as needed
Answering phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments
Triage referrals, xrays for new patients
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of experience in a dental clinic
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Abeldent software
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
Proficient in computer and office equipment
Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures is a plus.
