Summary
We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team in North York. In this role, you will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for our patients while ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your contributions will directly support our mission of promoting lifelong oral health.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
Schedule appointments and manage patient records using Dentrix.
Handle multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries.
Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Educate patients on dental procedures and office policies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Manage electronic medical records accurately.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures.
Proficiency in Tracker software is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with electronic medical records is an asset.
Familiarity with insurance processes is preferred.
