The Role
This is not a traditional front desk position.
You will be responsible for all aspects of patient communication and the overall front office experience, from the first interaction through completion of care.
Responsibilities include:
Answering phones and converting calls into scheduled appointments
Managing and optimizing the daily schedule
Greeting and checking patients in and out professionally
Coordinating treatment and presenting financial options
Following up on unscheduled and incomplete treatment
Handling patient questions and concerns with clarity and confidence
Ensuring each patient leaves informed, comfortable, and prepared to move forward with care
This role requires a high level of ownership. If it involves the patient experience, you are responsible for it.
Qualifications
Prior dental front office experience is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and guide patients through treatment decisions
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self motivated and proactive
Comfortable receiving feedback and committed to personal and professional growth
Key Contributions
Serve as the first and lasting impression of the practice
Support and improve case acceptance through effective communication
Maintain an efficient, productive schedule
Build strong patient relationships that encourage long-term retention
