Dental Receptionist Appointment Coordinator
Our friendly 5 practice is seeking an experienced front office professional to join the team at our well-respected private multi-specialty practice.
Dental Receptionist Appointment Coordinator Qualifications and Experience:
MINIMUM OF 2+ YEARS RELATED DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Previous experience in a dental office, particularly in a front desk or administrative role, is required. Prior management skills a plus.
Computer Skills: Proficiency using dental practice management software, electronic billing, and other computer applications is essential.
Knowledge of Dental Terminology: An understanding of dental procedures and terminology for communicating effectively with patients and staff.
Insurance and Billing Knowledge: Understanding insurance processes, coding (CDT codes), and billing procedures is necessary for managing patient accounts and claims.
Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains doctor/hygienist schedule.
Responsible for answering incoming calls to include, new patient calls, emergencies, scheduling patient appointments, and follow up.
Manage unscheduled list, asap list, treatment pending list.
Discuss Treatment Planning.
Greet and check patients in and out, before and after treatment.
Document patient dental treatments and financial transactions.
Discuss and make pre-treatment financial arrangements with patients.
Responsible for billing dental insurance, posting payments, and claim estimations.
General office duties and other duties as required
