Dental Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with Tracker dental office software, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic medical records and dental management systems is highly preferred. Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or Epic
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment requests
Verify patient insurance information and process billing using dental office management software
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
Collect payments and explain treatment plans or financial policies to patients
Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and other healthcare providers
Ensure the front desk area is organized, tidy, and welcoming at all times
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry related to medical terminology and office procedures
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a Dental office setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Tracker or Epic is preferred
Knowledge of Dental terminology and electronic medical records systems is advantageous
Office experience involving front desk responsibilities, multi-line phone systems, and administrative support is essential
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and excellent communication abilities are required
Prior experience working in a dental or healthcare environment will be considered an asset
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
