Job Description
· Transferring existing patient charts into the office’s new digital platform
· Greeting patients and parents of the practice
· Checking patients in and out
· Answering incoming phone calls
· Scheduling/ confirming appointments
· Verifying patient insurance
· Acquiring pre-authorizations
· Submitting dental claims
· Handling patient payments appropriately
· Managing the patient calendar
· Managing the office email/ correspondence with parents and other offices if necessary
· Maintaining a professional demeanor and positive attitude as the first and last point of contact of patients and parents in the office
· Working closely with the dental team to facilitate effective communication and coordination
· Contributing to a patient-focused collaborative culture
· Pay is negotiable and based on education and experience
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
