Dental Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office procedures and excellent communication skills. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes
Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix
Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy in electronic medical records
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer calls, address inquiries, and provide information about services
Process patient payments and insurance claims efficiently
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination
Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support office operations
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred
Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices
Experience managing front desk operations and multi-line phone systems is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members
