Experienced Dental Scheduler / Patient Coordinator
Help Create an Exceptional Patient Experience from the First Phone Call
Excellence in Dentistry is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Dental Scheduler / Patient Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, managing a productive schedule, and helping patients receive the care they need.
The ideal candidate understands that scheduling is more than filling appointment times—it is about creating value for patients, supporting the clinical team, and helping the practice achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and provide outstanding customer service
Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently
Manage provider schedules to maximize productivity and patient flow
Follow up with unscheduled treatment and overdue hygiene patients
Communicate treatment value and help patients find appointment solutions
Maintain accurate patient records and appointment notes
Coordinate with clinical team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
Qualifications
Previous dental scheduling or front office experience required
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience with dental software systems preferred
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
