Dental Scheduling Coordinator - Full Time, Benefits, Parking, 401K

Full time Scheduling Coordinator/Reception needed for high touch and technology general dentist practice. Our office is located in the Kaheka and King Street area and we work M, Tu, W, and F. Our office observes the state and federal holiday schedule and typically have one 3 day weekend per month.

We are not your typical dental office! All of our team members are high performing and are well compensated. Due to childcare schedule changing, we are now looking for another team member.

Hourly pay is negotiable based on experience and fit and can range from $18.00 to 25.00 per hour. In addition to a base hourly wage, our team enjoys the possibility of performance based daily cash bonuses and monthly bonuses. Our team members on average made $4 to $13 more per hour for the entire 2025 calendar year.

We are looking for someone who has dental experience and are familiar with general dentistry and surgical terminology. Must be people and customer service oriented with a great and outgoing attitude. Attention to detail is a necessary trait. Schedule management will be taught but time management skills and understanding of best use of provider time will help our team member succeed. Excellent communication skills (telephone and in-person) are also required as we handle patient/patient's PCP/team member interactions every day. Experience in filing dental claims and working with patient financing companies for cross training is a strong trait we are looking for as well. Great computer skills are welcomed as our office is completely digital.

Our office procedures are heavy in surgery and reconstruction procedures such as full mouth implants, bone grafting but also provide fillings, same day crowns, cosmetics, root canals, extractions, Invisalign, and single dental implants on a limited availability for our patients. We have Dentrix digital charting, digital x-rays, Airflow biofilm removal system, In office CBCT machine, CEREC, Medit digital intra-oral scanner, ICAM photogrammetry for full arch dental implants, zirconia milling machines, and 3D printer technologies in our office. However, we are looking for team members who are motivated to learn our office systems.

After a trial period is complete, benefits include medical, dental, paid holidays, and paid continuing education. After a qualifying period, 401K and profit sharing is also available. We have team performance bonuses offered to team members as well. Covered staff parking and business trip expense is provided.

Responsibilities
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

Keep a balance of the schedule to maintain order in the practice throughout the day.

Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations; especially when communicating with other medical and dental offices.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.

Assist in the coordination of medical physician(s) offices for surgeries, medical clearances and necessary bloodwork.

Manage dental implant consultation schedule and coordinate patients' first visit to the office.

Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth front desk operations and effective communication.
