Job Description
Greenville Family Dentistry
Dental Schedule Coordinator
Location: Greer, SC
Schedule M-F (32 to 40 hour per week)
Compensations: $25 to $30 per hour, DOE
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision PTO, Sick, Vacation, Holiday, and 401k
Key Responsibilities:
Manage 2 doc schedule and use template to schedule practice to goal daily
Present treatment plans to patients and review financing options
Send pre-determinations to insurance for patients
Manage out-going referrals and follow up with patients/practices accordingly
Report pending treatment for patients who are schedule at daily huddle
Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional administrative or healthcare training preferred
Dental experience required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in scheduling or practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience handling insurance verification and patient billing inquiries
Customer service experience in a healthcare setting
